Our commitment to healthy eating for young children stems from the belief that it is essential to provide the right nutrition to ensure that your child grows and develops well whilst in our care.
Delicious home-cooked meals are prepared on-site every day by our nursery chefs. Our menus are planned using guidelines from the Food Standards Agency and with careful consideration given to salt and sugar content. We change our menus in accordance with the seasons. In line with our home-from-home philosophy we believe that the kitchen is an important part of the nursery environment. There’s nothing quite like the familiar smell of home-cooked food. Practitioners regularly bake with the children and educate them about different fruits and vegetables, promoting that all-important healthy approach to diet and lifestyle.
Our nursery chefs have all received training on allergies and intolerances. Our childcare practitioners offer each family the best possible support and are committed to working with you to ensure your child’s dietary needs are met.
The experienced staff in our baby rooms are fully trained and ready to assist parents when it comes to the time when your little one starts weaning.
