Why Choose Little Rascals for
the Best Childcare in Melton Mowbray?
Little Rascals Day Nurseries is a small group of two nurseries, located conveniently on the north and east sides of Melton Mowbray. Little Rascals goes above and beyond to provide homely environments where children are encouraged, nurtured and inspired by highly qualified and experienced staff.
Everything we do is centred around our amazing children, and it is our mission to provide the highest-quality childcare and education for your child. This is a magical time in your child's development, and it's our job to provide a place that encourages children to explore the world around them!
Director Liz Raine holds a BA (Hons) in Early Years Education and has over [20] years of experience in early years, including time as an Ofsted inspector. Liz opened her first nursery in 2007, and since then she and her experienced team have created a popular and trusted set of childcare providers. In 2015, Liz expanded her provision when she bought a second nursery on Burton Road.

What We Believe
Our team of childcare experts and educators is at the forefront of the latest industry innovations in childhood development and learning.
We are also committed to partnering with parents to raise enthusiastic, smart and capable children! Our curriculum focuses on empathy, kindness, and respect for others and the environment.
Through interactions with other children and educational materials, your child will learn about the world while forming friendships that could last a lifetime.
"We put the child at the centre of everything we do."
The Curiosity Approach at Little Rascals
Walk into one of our rooms, and you might notice the toy shelf is a little quieter than you'd expect. Instead of flashing, beeping toys, you'll find baskets of pinecones, wooden spoons, shells, fabric and cable reels.
That's the Curiosity Approach at work. It draws on Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Steiner and Te Whāriki, and it comes down to one simple idea: children learn best when they're the ones leading the adventure. We're currently working towards our Curiosity Approach accreditation.
Want to see what a curious day at Little Rascals looks like? Our free parent guide, Unlocking Curiosity, explains how our rooms work, what your child gains from it, and a few easy ways to bring the same spirit home.
